Yes. After a first visit while online, all content — entries, journeys, quizzes, glossary, cultural assistant — is cached on your device. You can then use Culturèm on a plane, in a signal-free area or while roaming with no limitation whatsoever. Only the fonts may, the very first time, require a connection.

No. Culturèm asks for no account, no email address, no phone number. Your cultural passport (entries consulted, quizzes, badges, favourites) is stored solely in your browser's local memory.

The assistant is an embedded generative research engine: it analyses your question, compares it against the app's verified corpus (entries, countries, glossary) then composes a synthesised answer citing its sources. Everything happens on your device: no question, no data is transmitted to a server.

These are stylised three-dimensional renderings, drawn in flat colours, that you rotate 360° with your finger or mouse. They do not replace photographs: they locate the numbered points of attention detailed in the legend, to help prepare for or extend a real visit.

Fourteen badges reward your journey: viewing your first entry, viewing ten, fully exploring a country, visiting all fifty-four countries, completing a quiz, achieving a perfect score, asking the assistant a question, opening the glossary, saving three favourites… The Passport page shows the condition to meet for each badge.

Yes, at any time: the Passport page has a "Reset my passport" button that erases all of your local traces. Clearing your browser's site data has the same effect.

Entries are based on official UNESCO lists and documented sources; inscription dates are stated and historical uncertainties are flagged. If you spot an inaccuracy, write to us at contact@jt-crea.com: every report is reviewed and corrections are included in updates.

It's planned. The project includes a full guide to converting it into an Android application (via TWA or Capacitor). In the meantime, the installed PWA version offers an experience equivalent to a native app, including automatic updates.

Certain knowledge — initiation rites, sanctuary contents, reserved meanings — belongs to circles of initiates. Culturèm applies a principle of cultural governance: this knowledge is mentioned with respect, without being exposed. The decision on what may be shown belongs to the communities that hold it.
